Mission Statement
We aim to provide up-to-date information that supports people with a disability and their carers to live as independent a life as possible. We offer support that promotes good mental, physical and emotional wellbeing. We aim to help empower people to have choice and control.
Our Committee
North Lanarkshire Disability Forum is committee led, which means the work we carry out is influenced by our members through their knowledge and experiences in North Lanarkshire. Our committee are like-minded people who are interested in having a say in things that affect disabled people in North Lanarkshire like transport, health and social care services, welfare rights and more.
Membership
We have reshaped our Membership to enable people to be part of NLDF, to help us do the work that we do and to ensure it is reflective of the needs of disabled people in North Lanarkshire.

Volunteering
North Lanarkshire Disability Forum can offer a range of volunteering opportunities such as being on our committee, helping in the office, supporting people in the community, sharing our information online or by word of mouth.
